About Ken LaVan

Kenneth LaVan is an American entrepreneur and innovator.  His most recent companies, Disability Help Group and Veterans Help Group, grew to become two of the largest disability advocacy companies in the country.  Pioneering the use of AI throughout the disability claims process, his companies helped hundreds of thousands of disabled people and veterans receive benefits and healthcare.

In 2021, Ken sold the majority shares of both companies, remaining as CEO and integrating them into one parent company, Advocacy Solutions.  Through acquisition, integration, and organic growth, he successfully grew EBITDA ~5X, selling his remaining shares in 2024.

Ken founded more than 15 business, selling over 10.  His companies have provided outsourced services to Fortune 500 companies and the largest law firms in the US.  Ken patented software systems which expedite lead generation and claims processing, decrease staff and administrative costs, and increase revenue through analytics.  His intellectual property is the foundation for many software systems throughout the legal field.  IBM has referred to him as an innovator in the mid-market.

He graduated with honors from both Hofstra Law School, earning a Juris Doctor, and George Washington University, with a Bachelor of Accountancy.  Ken was a captain on the George Washington University Baseball Team and started center field when the Team won the Atlantic 10 Championships.

Today, he and his family reside in beautiful South Florida where he provides consulting and coaching services.
